About Fruit Contour Watermelon
A half watermelon slice sits alone on a clean white ground, drawn with a loose, unbroken black line. The flat cut edge runs straight down the left, and the curved rind sweeps out to the right in three roughly parallel strokes that thicken and thin as they travel, pooling to a heavier weight along the bottom curve. Inside, about fifteen small pointed seeds are scattered at uneven angles, each one a quick closed oval. Nothing is filled in; the fruit is pure outline.
The character is casual and hand-drawn rather than precise, with a wobble in the line and a small tail overshooting at the top left corner. It reads as a quick sketch enlarged, spare and graphic with plenty of white breathing space around the shape.
Made for kitchens, breakfast nooks and dining walls, where the black line reads clearly from across the room. It suits white or pale grey walls, timber shelving and Scandinavian interiors, and works well hung as a pair or trio with other simple fruit or botanical line prints above a bench or sideboard.
