Five tulips rise on slender stems from a cluster of long green leaves at the lower left of a square composition. The blooms are coloured differently: a soft grey-green one at the top left, a deep blue one with dark violet speckling, a pale purple one behind, a sage green one on the right and a rust orange one lower down. Fine pale outlines trace each petal and leaf.
Behind the tulips, the picture is divided into panels like a patchwork. A warm golden-brown centre column is flanked by panels of cream and ochre damask scrollwork, teal and lavender patterned sections, and faded floral motifs. The surface looks layered and worn, with mottled texture, tiny dotted highlights on the leaves and a mix of gold, olive and muted teal. It reads as a digital mixed-media illustration.
