Two gloriosa lilies rise from a single dark stem against a plain white ground. The larger bloom sits high on the right, its wavy petals swept back and upward, with long thin stamens reaching out in all directions. The smaller lily below left faces outward, its petals fanning from a dense black centre.
The image reads like an x-ray photograph: petals and leaves are translucent greys, with darker veins showing through, while stems and stamens turn near-black. Long leaves end in tight curling tendrils at the lower left and right. A small handwritten signature sits in the bottom right corner.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
