Two large poppy-like flowers sit on a soft cream background in a watercolour style. The upper left bloom is mustard gold with mottled washes across its broad petals, and a dense centre of grey-green and brown stamens. A thin grey stem curves down from it, with fine black outlines tracing some petal edges.
The second flower, in layered violet and lilac, fills the lower right corner and is cropped by the edge. Two grey buds tipped with lilac and a touch of gold hang at the top right and lower left. Black cursive French script runs behind, including "bonjour" and fragments such as "Mm" and "ne et", over a faint paper texture.
