A single yellow capsicum fills the lower left of the square, its green stem curving up and over to the left. The skin is rendered in soft, watery washes of lemon and mustard, with pale highlights on the shoulders and darker olive-green shading around the stem base.
Behind it sits a weathered cream and tan background layered with faded handwriting in brown ink and a floral damask pattern. Gold lettering reads "CAFES" across the top left, a looping "Launay & Cie" in script runs through the middle, and a banner reading "NOUVEAUTE" sits in the top right corner.
