Tall golden grass fills the left and right foreground, its seed heads bending in the wind. Between the clumps a pale sand dune curves down toward the lower centre, forming a soft path that leads the eye out to the water beyond.
In the distance a thin line of surf breaks along the shore below a long, blue-grey mountain range. The sky moves from deep blue at the top to hazy white cloud near the horizon. A faint textured, aged-paper finish gives this photograph a soft, slightly faded look.
