Several slender vines hang from the top edge to the bottom of this portrait image, each one carrying small leaves and a few rounded blooms. The foliage is layered over a pale grey-white ground, with soft translucent shapes behind it that read like shadows or leaves seen through frosted glass.
The colour shifts down each stem. Violet and deep blue sit near the top, teal and moss green gather through the middle, and amber and rust leaves appear at a few points. Edges are soft and washed, and the paint-like texture is mottled, so the piece sits between a botanical study and an abstract painting.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
