Four white boats sit side by side in the foreground of a calm harbour, their hulls trimmed with red and blue lines. Their reflections stretch down the teal water in broken white and blue strokes. A concrete quay runs in from the right edge, with tall blue mooring poles standing along the waterfront.
Behind the boats, pastel buildings in peach, lilac, cream and yellow rise under terracotta roofs, with dark green palms between them. Blue-grey mountains sit on the left under a deep blue sky with a thin band of orange light. The thick, ridged strokes look like palette-knife work, giving the scene a raised, sunlit texture.
