A sailing yacht leans hard to one side, filling most of the frame with large cream and grey sails. Fine grey lines mark the seams and rigging across each sail, and a pale timber mast slants up from the left edge. The sails are laid in with thick, flat strokes, so the surface reads as textured and slightly chalky.
Below the sails the hull cuts through dark navy and teal water. Touches of rust red, orange and pale blue show along the deck and hull. White foam breaks at the bow and streaks across the waves in quick, scraped marks. The mood is fast and windy, with a muted palette of white, grey and deep blue.
