A single hibiscus is shown as if lit from behind, its petals thin and see-through against a plain white background. Fine dark veins fan out from the centre across each petal, and a tall, slender stamen rises from the base, dotted with small pollen-tipped specks along its upper length.
The colour moves from pale sage and cream at the top, through soft lavender-grey in the middle, to dusty mauve and plum near the base. A second faded bloom sits behind on the right, barely visible. The look is a digital, x-ray style image with a small signature at the lower left.
