About Hometown Holiday II
A snowy village street fills the lower two thirds of this portrait illustration. On the left stands a mint green building with grey window frames, pale yellow shutters and a red door hung with a wreath, flanked by two small decorated Christmas trees. Beside it a pink building carries a teal striped awning lettered Bakery Shop, with a window display of cakes and jars. A bright green rounded car sits in the foreground snow, while a red car behind it is stacked with wrapped gifts.
Above the rooftops the sky is deep navy with scattered white snowflakes and wisps of chimney smoke. Two speech bubbles float there: a pink one reading Santa stop here please and a pale blue one reading Time to celebrate. Black lamp posts stand at either edge, and footprints track through the white snow. The look is soft-edged and washy, with visible watercolour texture and loose outlines that keep the scene cheerful and storybook-like rather than realistic.
