A small blue delivery van sits parked at the kerb in front of a weathered stone shopfront. Its rounded bonnet, curved mudguards and yellow wheel rims give it a postwar French look. Yellow lettering on the side reads "L'ABEILLE DES GORGES DU VERDON", and on the door "MANGEZ DU MIEL" and "C'EST NATUREL".
Above the van, an orange and cream striped awning hangs over a yellow valance lettered "BOULANGERIE" in red capitals. Blue shutters flank a small paned window that reflects the street. The plaster wall behind is cracked and patchy in white and grey, and the muted blue of the van and shutters set against the warm awning gives the scene its faded, sun-worn feel.
