About White Blossoms in Gold
A full round bouquet of small white blossoms fills the centre of the canvas, each flower built from four or five thick knife-laid petals with a raised dot at the centre. Thin olive-green stems run down through the cluster into a short dark brown vase, itself blocked in with squared strokes. The background is split down the middle: warm gold on the left, cool pale silver-grey on the right, both worked into a tight grid of small square knife marks that catch light like tiles.
The character is decorative and tactile rather than botanical - the flowers read as texture first, colour second, and the gold-to-silver split gives the piece a quiet, metallic calm.
Suits a formal dining room, a hallway console or above a bed with white linen. The gold half works with brass lamps and warm timber; the silver half sits well with chrome, glass and grey upholstery.
