A large rounded hydrangea head in soft pink and lilac fills the upper left of the square, each four-petalled floret marked with a deeper purple centre. Below it sit two broad, veined green leaves, one reaching in from the left edge and one spread across the bottom centre. The flowers and leaves look like detailed botanical illustration lifted onto a layered background.
Behind the flowers is a muted grey-violet ground with faded scrolls and lace-like patterns. A pale ribbon with a green patterned border runs diagonally across the top right, carrying the words "Paris Roubaix" in dark lettering. A second hydrangea in periwinkle blue is cropped at the right edge, giving a vintage collage feel in cool, dusty tones.
