A single octopus fills the portrait frame against a clean white background. Its rounded head sits upper left, shaded from pale lime to soft peach, and eight tentacles spread outward from the body in loose curls, hooks and long sweeping arms. Fine white gaps separate the shapes.
The colour runs through lime green, olive, khaki and muted tan, pooling and blending like ink on a wet surface. Darker brown edges mark where the colours settle, and a small pale ring sits near the eye. The look is a fluid watercolour, with a small signature at the lower right.
