A tall portrait layout is split into colour blocks. A cream band across the top carries "LONDON" in large dark serif capitals, and below it "1948" is set in a slanted cream italic on a coral panel. Thin green strips run along the right edge and the top of the yellow block.
Four cut-out black and white photographs of riders and horses mid-jump are placed on the colours. One horse leaps high at upper right, another is shown head-on at centre right, and a third clears a striped fence at lower right. The largest rider crosses a white gatepost with a lantern and a flower planter on yellow. A blue strip at the foot reads "EQUESTRIAN" in yellow italic capitals.
