About Kaleidoscope Classic Car
A 1950s-style saloon car sits at a three-quarter angle, front bumper pushed towards the viewer. The bonnet, grille and front guards are broken into patches of red, orange, violet, cobalt and green, laid on in thick square strokes so the paint stands off the canvas. Round headlamps and smaller spotlights are picked out in cream and pale yellow. The rear half of the body stays cooler, in soft grey-blue and mauve, with a whitewall wheel and dark tyre anchoring the left side.
The background is a scrubbed wall of grey, cream and warm gold, overlaid with loose handwritten script in faint brown along the upper right. The result is a nostalgic shape carried by loud, deliberately mismatched colour, part portrait of a car and part colour study.
Works in a living room, hallway or home bar where you want one strong colour note against plain walls. Suits mid-century furniture, leather seating and timber floors, and sits well above a sideboard or in a study. Pairs with other pop art prints or a single block-colour chair.
