About Manhattan Skyline
A wide dusk view across the East River, with the Brooklyn Bridge running in from the left and its stone tower and cable fan filling the upper left quarter. Behind and to the right stands the Lower Manhattan skyline, One World Trade Center rising tallest at the right edge with a lit spire. The sky grades from clear blue at the top to streaked pink and mauve cloud along the horizon. Warm amber window lights and street lamps line the waterfront and the bridge deck.
The lower half is smooth river water, long-exposure calm, holding soft reflections of gold lights and pink sky. The character is quiet rather than busy: a sharp, high-detail photograph where cool blue and warm city light balance each other evenly.
Suits a living room, home office or hallway where a wide horizontal wall needs a focal point. It works over a dark timber sideboard or a grey sofa, and sits well with black metal lamps, glass and leather.
