Tall, bare-barked tree trunks fill the frame, rising past the top edge in shades of violet, grey and burnt orange. Streaks of yellow light run down the bark, and long strips of peeling bark hang from the trunks. Between them, pale blue hills sit under a hazy yellow-cream sky.
Two riders on dark horses, one in a red-orange top and one in yellow, follow a sunlit track through bright green ferns at the base of the trees. Across the bottom, bold yellow block capitals spell AUSTRALIA, with the line "THE TALLEST TREES IN THE BRITISH EMPIRE – MARYSVILLE, VICTORIA" beneath and a small round emblem at the centre. A signature sits at the lower right. The flat colour and strong lettering give it a 1930s travel poster feel.
