A field of round, daisy-like flowers fills the lower two thirds of this portrait image. Each head has a dark centre with thin lines radiating out, and the edges blur into the background like wet colour bleeding on paper. The blooms are pink, crimson, yellow, orange, lilac and pale blue, and they vary in size from large heads in the middle to small ones at the edges.
Behind the flowers the background shifts from teal and aqua at the top to a lime green haze, then to deep indigo and navy at the base. Thin dark stems rise through the blue, and scattered translucent dots and circles float between the heads like bubbles. The treatment is a soft watercolour look with layered washes, and there is no hard outline anywhere.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
