About Let's Be Mermaids
A single mermaid floats in the centre of a square white panel, her body drawn in soft watercolour that shifts from magenta pink at her hair and shoulders through violet at her waist to cornflower blue in the long curled tail fin. Her eyes are closed and her hair streams out to the right. Small gold dots mark a scale pattern down the tail, with a matching gold pendant and bangles. The background is pale whitewashed timber grain, edged on the left and right by a mint green scallop border.
In slim blue hand-lettered script across the top it reads Let's Be Mermaids, with a small signature in the lower right corner. The watercolour is loose and translucent, with visible pooling and soft edges where the pigment has dried. The overall character is gentle and playful rather than detailed, an easy coastal-themed illustration built on only a few colours.
