Six mermaids with auburn hair and blue tails swim through a huge, transparent wine-style glass, their hands linked in a loose ring. Two float at the top left, one reaches upward on the right, and three form a circle at the base. Small white bubbles rise around them and fill the glass, with soft highlights drawn along its rim.
The headline across the top reads "MERVEILLEUSEMENT GAZEUSE" in navy capitals. At the bottom, "Source" is written in a red script above heavy white block letters spelling "BRAULT", with "RIGOUREUSEMENT NATURELLE" beneath. The background fades from pale green and yellow into deep blue at the edges, giving a flat-colour lithograph look of the 1930s. A small signature and credit sit at lower right.
