Loose, flat-shaped blossoms and petals scatter across a deep navy to black ground, filling the portrait format from edge to edge. The shapes are simplified, with soft four and five-lobed forms that overlap and fade into the dark, so the flowers read as a drifting pattern rather than a single bouquet.
The palette is muted: chalky white, pale blue and sage green, with small touches of peach, apricot and dusty violet. Surfaces look layered and slightly scratchy, with faint vertical streaking through the dark background. A few blooms glow brightly near the centre and right, while others sink into shadow.
