Tall, thin tree trunks rise through a pale, misty wash in this watercolour of a grove. The trunks run from near-black to soft brown and grey, some with bare branches reaching sideways. Their tops dissolve into loose, bleeding clouds of foliage in deep blue, mustard yellow and rusty brown.
Small leaf shapes in blue, gold and orange scatter through the air between the trunks. Streaks of colour run downward from the canopies, and the white paper glows between the trees like fog. At the base, a teal pool and dark brown ground anchor the scene, with a faint pale path leading into the light.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
