A wide waterfall spills over a ledge of layered, dark sandstone, the long exposure turning the water into soft white threads that fan out in several streams. Rock walls rise on both sides, the right-hand wall stacked in flat, rust-brown slabs, with a few green leaves showing along the top left edge.
In the foreground a pool of dark, tea-brown water swirls in faint curved ripples, with a pale ribbon of foam running off to the left. Bright moss covers the rocks along the bank, and broken slabs lie tumbled below the falls. The photograph is warm and earthy, with fresh green set against copper and brown.
