A still life of Australian native flowers arranged around two old tins on a worn timber table. At left a biscuit tin with a rainbow lorikeet and the words "Arnott's" and "Biscuits" is crowded with yellow banksia, red bottlebrush and white flannel flowers. In the centre a blue baking powder tin printed with "Bussells White Wings" holds a banksia and eucalyptus leaves.
At right a timber crate with faded lettering carries more banksia, flannel flowers and a few gum nuts. A red waratah lies on the table at front, and a checked cloth hangs over the left edge. The palette is warm gold, rust, red and teal on a soft olive-brown background that glows lighter behind the tins. The brushwork reads as an oil-style painting with visible texture.
