About New York Times Square
A wide-angle photograph taken from street level in Times Square, looking north up Broadway as the sky fades to deep cobalt. Illuminated billboards crowd both edges of the frame, stacked in magenta, cyan, yellow and white, with glass towers rising in the centre. In the lower left, a long exposure has smeared passing traffic into ribbons of red, gold and green across the bitumen. Pedestrians gather on the footpath at right, some blurred mid-step, near a road marked ONLY in white lettering.
The image trades on contrast: still architecture and a clean gradient sky against fast, streaked light on the road. Colours are saturated and the detail is sharp enough to read signage, giving the print a busy, high-energy feel without looking cluttered.
Works in a home office, hallway or media room where a strong colour hit is welcome, and suits apartments with black or charcoal joinery.
