A pen and ink illustration with soft watercolour washes looks down a New York avenue. On the left, a corner cafe with a red facade, a red and white striped awning and the lettering "NEW YORKER" has diners seated at small tables, with window boxes of green plants on the brick floors above.
Three yellow taxis angle toward the viewer in the foreground, with more queued behind them beneath a row of pale green trees. The Empire State Building rises at the vanishing point between tall buildings, and fire escapes zigzag down the right-hand walls beside a hanging American flag. Fine black linework gives the brick and windows a sketched texture.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
