About Nude Female Line
A single thin white line travels across a flat blush-beige square, describing the back of a seated female figure viewed from behind. The line rises at the left shoulder, dips through the curve of the spine, swings out at the right shoulder and falls into a short loop suggesting a bent arm. A second sweeping stroke runs down the lower left, tracing the length of the back and hip, closing in a soft curve at the base of the figure. Nothing else occupies the square.
The character here is restraint. The background is one even wash of warm sand tone with no shading, so the drawing reads as pure outline, and the figure is suggested rather than described in full.
Suits bedrooms, ensuites and bathrooms where the palette stays soft, and works in beach house hallways or a home office above a pale timber desk. Pairs with linen bedding, rattan, travertine and unglazed ceramics. The square format sits well over a bedhead or as one of a pair with another neutral print.
