Two cream-framed French doors stand open at the front of the scene, with fixed glazed panels at each edge. Through the gap, a wide beach runs down to the shoreline. A palm frond hangs in from the top left corner, its dark green leaves cutting across the orange sky.
The sky glows amber and gold, with a band of yellow cloud above a flat horizon. Small white sailboats sit far out on calm, glowing water. Low waves catch the light as they roll in and break in white foam on pale sand. It is a detailed, realistic painterly image in warm oranges and creams.
