About Orange Fruit Wall Art Print
A single round orange fills the centre of this square composition, set against a very dark, almost black background with a faint green cast in the upper left corner. The fruit is built from hundreds of fine vertical lines that scratch through the dark ground, so the surface reads as amber and gold at the centre and dims to a soft halo at the edges. A short dark stem rises from the top and carries one long, pointed green leaf that angles up to the right, its veins drawn in the same fine line work.
The character here is quiet and graphic: one glowing fruit floating in darkness, closer to an etching than a conventional still life, with warmth that comes entirely from the density of the linework.
Suited to kitchens, dining rooms and breakfast nooks, particularly against white splashbacks, dark timber cabinetry or a charcoal feature wall. The square format works above a sideboard or in a pair with another food study. Pairs with brass hardware, terracotta bowls, black metal shelving and green foliage on the bench.
