A single moth orchid is shown face-on in an X-ray style, centred on a clean white background. The petals turn almost see-through, so the fine network of veins shows across each one in thin grey lines. The upper petal is rounded and oval, with a central vein running down its length.
The centre of the flower is the darkest point, a solid black column and lip shaped like a small hooded figure with two curled arms. Two narrower dark petals cross the wider pale ones on either side. Tones run from pure black to soft silvery grey, with no colour and no background detail.
