A single orchid flower fills the centre of a pure white background, shown front on in an X-ray style. The petals are almost see-through, rendered in pale grey with a fine network of veins running across each one. Two broad petals spread left and right, with a pointed one rising at the top and another curving down at the base.
The darkest area sits at the centre, where the column and lip of the flower form a dense black shape with a small pale gap inside. Darker streaks radiate outward from it into the lower petals. The image is a black and white photograph with soft tonal gradients and no colour, leaving plenty of clean white space around the bloom.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
