Stretched, ready to hang
Your canvas is stretched on a timber frame with the hanging wire already attached. Clean, frameless gallery look.
Floating frame
The stretched canvas sits inside a slim timber frame in white, black, natural or silver, with a small shadow gap around the edge. Delivered framed and ready to hang.
Rolled canvas
Just the printed canvas, rolled in a tube, if you would rather have it framed locally.
How our prints are made
- Museum-quality giclée print on heavy-duty archival canvas, using pigment inks that will not fade.
- Stretched on a thick timber frame with the hanging wire attached, so it goes straight onto the wall.

A single butterfly sits dead centre with its wings spread flat, seen from above like a pinned specimen. The forewings are creamy white fading to grey at the tips, with a wash of peach near the middle and a scatter of small black spots and rings. The body is white and furry, with two dark antennae curving up and outward.
The hindwings taper into pointed tails and carry a band of orange and yellow dashes edged in blue-grey crescents along the lower margin. Behind it the background is a scratched, mottled surface in sea-green and teal with brown stains and fine cracks. It reads as a photograph layered with texture. A small caption at the bottom centre reads "JEWEL NAWAB" with a scientific name beneath.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
