A square abstract seascape built from broad horizontal bands. A low, dark headland sits on each side of the horizon, with a pale, cloudy sky of white, grey and soft aqua filling the upper half. The sky is mottled and streaky, with small gaps of clear white breaking through.
Below the horizon the sea is made of overlapping washes in aqua, teal, slate blue and grey. One deep navy stroke cuts across the right side and a bright turquoise band runs beneath it. Dark grey flecks near the bottom edge read as rocks, and white patches suggest foam. The surface looks like layered watercolour and collage.
