Palm fronds sweep in from the top left and hang across the upper frame, their yellow-green leaves backlit against a deep blue sky. A leaning trunk and a few dark rocks anchor the left edge, with a strip of pale sand running along the bottom left.
Clear, shallow water slides over cream sand in thin lacy foam, shifting from sandy beige to turquoise and then deeper blue towards a level horizon. Two small forested islands sit in the distance beneath soft white cumulus clouds. It is a sharp, richly saturated colour photograph.
