A large pink peony fills the left and centre of this square image, its ruffled petals shading from pale blush to deep rose at the heart. Two dark green leaves sit at the lower left, and a short stem curves down at the bottom edge. The flower is rendered with soft, slightly textured brushwork.
Behind it the design reads as an aged French postcard. Gold script spells "Carte Postale" across the top, with "Chambon" beneath it and "Paris" at the lower right. A round "Paris France" postmark sits at the right, a small stamp at the lower left, and a sepia Eiffel Tower rises behind the bloom on a creamy, mottled ground.
