A hummingbird is built from patches of patterned fabric on a pale sage-cream background with visible horizontal brushstrokes. The body is a deep blue paisley brocade, with a yellow-gold leaf pattern across the chest and a red, lace-like band at the neck. A thin rust-red beak points straight up at the top edge.
The wing stretches to the left in overlapping panels: pink embossed leaves, black and orange florals, a purple flower patch and a cream rose print with faint lettering. Above it floats a flat blue daisy-like flower with a red brocade centre, joined to a thin red stem curving in from the left edge. The look is collage mixed with digital illustration.
