A vintage botanical plate on a cream, slightly aged ground, headed "Pelargonium" with a plate number in the top corner. Six separate species sit within a thin ruled border, each with a small italic Latin label beside it. Pink flowers with darker red feathering on the petals sit on slender green stems.
The leaves vary from broad, lobed leaves with a reddish zone at the centre to fine, deeply cut foliage. Along the bottom, a trailing plant carries small rounded leaves and long, narrow orange-tan buds. A small line drawing of stamens floats in the middle. The colouring is soft and hand-tinted in appearance, with fine engraved outlines.
