A single large pink peony fills the left and centre of the square, its ruffled petals shading from pale blush at the edges to deeper rose in the folds. Dark olive-green leaves sit around the bloom, and a curved green stem sweeps down from the base towards the lower edge.
Behind the flower is a faded, creamy-beige background layered with handwritten French script, a date reading "26 octobre", the word "(Creuse)" and ghosted damask patterns. Three magenta bell-shaped flowers hang in the top right, and a thin trailing vine curls across the right side. The look is a soft, aged paper collage with a worn border.
