About Perfect Swing
A single golfer stands off-centre on a charcoal grey ground, modelled in thick gold paint so the body sits proudly off the canvas surface. The pose is the end of a swing: weight through the front leg, arms wrapped high over the left shoulder, club shaft angling back and down to the left. Broad white arcs sweep around the figure to trace the path of the club head, echoed by thinner gold circles. A dimpled silver-grey golf ball sits low at the right.
Three rust-red blocks are stacked in the top right corner, each scratched with mark-like script, and loose handwritten lines run across the lower half. Flicks of yellow, orange and red spatter break up the grey. The character is energetic and graphic rather than literal, closer to a sculpted emblem of the golf swing than a portrait of a player.
Suits a games room, home bar or golf-themed hallway, and works well in a study above a desk or leather chair. The gold relief and grey ground sit comfortably with dark timber, brushed metal light fittings and charcoal upholstery. Hang it where side light rakes across the raised paint and lifts the texture.
