A long pier stretches across the horizon, its length picked out by a row of small orange lights. Behind it the sky holds a narrow band of pale yellow and peach, while deep blue cloud streaks in sweeping lines across the upper half of the frame.
In the foreground a long exposure turns the incoming water into soft, milky blue mist that winds between dark wet rocks. Large boulders frame the left and right edges, and smaller rounded stones scatter across the pebbly beach at lower right. It is a photograph with a cool palette and a single warm glow at the horizon.
