About Playa Secreto II
A square abstract built from horizontal bands that read like a shoreline seen from above. The upper third is a hazy field of cream and warm taupe, speckled with fine dark flecks and streaked with pale gold along the right edge. Below it a ribbon of soft aqua runs across the full width, edged with a thin white line of feathered marbling. The lower half breaks into cream and ivory swells, then darkens into ribbons of walnut and ochre that curl and fold at the base.
The surface has the pooled, veined look of fluid marbling, with thin metallic gold passages catching the light along the right side and upper left. Colours bleed into one another rather than meeting at hard edges, so the whole image stays soft and drifting. It is a quiet, sandy piece with just enough aqua and gold to keep the eye moving across it.
Suits coastal and Hamptons interiors, neutral bedrooms and bathrooms, or above a sideboard in a dining room. It works with linen bedding, rattan, limewashed timber and brass or gold fittings.
