About Playful Flame
Curved ribbons of colour sweep across a pale grey-white ground. From the top left a broad band of orange-red and yellow bends down and inward, tapering into fine tails. At the centre a deep cobalt blue form curls like a teardrop, edged with green, pink and white, and a small dark pocket of near-black sits beneath it. To the right, thin strands of blue, green, red and yellow fan outward in a feathered arc. Faint pencil-like lines trail across the upper right corner.
The paint is applied in long directional strokes that follow each curve, so the colour looks pulled rather than dabbed, with visible brush lines inside the wide red band. Against the quiet white background the effect is light and buoyant, a flame-like motion held mid-turn.
Works in a white or light grey lounge room, entry hall or bedroom where the wall needs one point of colour. Pairs with pale timber, linen upholstery and brushed steel or black frames.
