A woman's face fills the frame in flat, screen-printed style. Her skin is a salmon-beige block, her hair a heavy mass of near-black with a thick fringe across the brow, and her lips are a deep red. The eyes are lost in dark shadow, with only tiny pale flecks showing under the fringe.
The background is a saturated red with thin blue edges where the colour layers sit slightly off register. Three strands of teal beads hang at her neck above a dark collar and a pale grey-beige jacket. Grainy halftone texture runs through the shadows, giving it a 1960s pop art feel.
