A square collage of botanical illustrations set against a cream background. A deep magenta dahlia with a yellow centre sits at the middle. Around it are two red poppies with dark seed centres, an orange poppy on the right, a yellow pansy at lower left and a pink and white striped bloom at the left edge.
Fine green leaflets, pointed fern-like foliage and a small purple bud fill the gaps between the flowers. A dark butterfly wing with green and black stripes enters at the bottom, and a patch of blue wing shows in the top left corner. The look is crisp and layered, like pressed specimen plates, with soft colour and fine detail.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
