A square countryside scene in a bold, naive style, built in layers. A deep blue sky with streaks of white sits above a low grey ridge and a dark clump of trees on the right. Below it, rolling fields in bright green are divided by wavy black lines, with strips of copper-orange furrows and pale grey tracks running diagonally.
The foreground is a meadow of flowers on a yellow-green and cream ground. Round orange blooms with white dots, rings and dark centres sit among red poppies on thin green stems, while brown spiky seed heads rise against the fields behind. The brushwork is flat and visible, with thick acrylic-style texture and a saturated palette.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
