A large red-orange peony fills the upper left, its ruffled petals built from loose watercolour washes that pool darker red at the centre and fade to pale coral at the edges. A thin black ink outline sits slightly off the colour, giving it a sketched look. A green stem curves down the left side.
On the right, a soft yellow lily with dark stamens sits at the top and a saturated orange lily rises from the bottom edge. Between them are a violet-blue tulip bud and a small closed bud. Olive green leaves and black ink curls and tendrils drift across a clean white background.
