A broad abstract landscape split into sky and shore. The upper two thirds is layered grey and white cloud, brushed in long sweeping strokes that lean slightly to the right. Near the middle the cloud thickens into a dark slate band that sits flat along the horizon like an approaching front.
Below the horizon a pale blue-grey stretch of water lies almost still, broken by thin islands of gold and olive. The bottom edge turns to dark brown and charcoal flats with ragged, scraped textures and flecks of metallic gold. A tiny monogram sits in the lower right corner. The look is a layered abstract painting with soft blends.

The quality of the work is ten out of ten. The piece was affordable and the turnaround time was quite quick. What you see is what you get. I’ll definitely be getting my next painting from Direct Art Australia.
My wife already had a couple of pieces of custom ordered paintings she had collected throughout the last few years and with your large selection to choose from she found the perfect complimentary piece to finish off her room.
