Two large red amaryllis flowers dominate this square composition, one at the upper right opening toward the viewer with a pale, whitish throat, the other at lower left showing pale veins down each petal and yellow-tipped stamens. Bunches of small, glossy red berries hang on thin stems between them, and a closed bud rises at the right edge.
Behind the flowers sits a cream, aged-paper ground printed with faded lettering, including "Photog", "Paris" and a date at the top, in tan and gold. Olive green leaves with red berries fill the upper left, and fine white flecks scatter across the whole surface like light snow. The look is a botanical illustration layered over vintage ephemera.
